CAT Team Projects

CAT is charged with assisting local charities, developing links with sporting clubs/events and promoting environmental awareness, seeking out ways to assist in creating a sustainable environment in Guernsey.

CAT have been involved in many projects over the years and whilst we are unable to highlight all of them we would like to share some of those very close to our heart.

Island Volleyball

The Guernsey Volleyball Association's drive to encourage more people to play volleyball is supported by Cat through a Summer beach volleyball tournament.

St. Germain Landfill Site
St. Germain landfill site is now being re-established into a site of natural beauty. CAT is proud to be the main sponsors of this project. On completion, the site will provide a playing field for the Catel primary school, a wild area with picnic tables and a nature trail with interpretation boards.
Tree of Joy
The “Tree of Joy” has become an annual event that CAT is delighted to be a part of. This gives us the opportunity to provide gifts for local children who may otherwise not receive a present at Christmas time.
CGI NRG Technology Challenge 2005

CAT recently completed their biggest community sponsorship event to take place in 2005. The CGI NRG Technology Challenge is an annual competition among 60 school children aged 15 and 16, who are confronted with a technological challenge that they must complete in teams within a four-hour time frame.
